Details:
Comet 12P Pons-Brooks, the devil comet, was fun and interesting to observe over the past year. It is now outbound to the cold distant part of the Solar System. The tail and coma has faded considerably during July 2024. It will still be observable into the early Fall. Will it outburst again ? Will it erupt with an odd coma again ? We do not know.
