Details:
Between 5.47 and 5.56 pm on Sunday 21st of July the 100% illuminated Full Moon was observed rising above some trees in front of a layer of thick smoke haze in the vicinity of the Mozambique border to the ESE of Mutare. Both Moon and sky were strongly coloured by reflections of light from a volcanic sunset twilight arch in the opposite direction. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
