The monsoon clouds finally parted for about an hour on the evening of 2024 July 23, Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) was magnitude G=9.3 as calculated from 8x30s images taken with no filter in an aperture diameter of 3' in clear skies. The color image was taken at an altitude below 7 degrees in hazy skies. The comet has finally started to brighten again over the past few weeks.
