Details:
I was photographing the night sky this past weekend at 11,300ft (3445m) altitude in the White Mountains of California near the Nevada border. This all-sky capture shows an extensive display of green airglow covering most of the night sky. The glow was visible to the naked eye. I could watch areas of the sky get brighter or darker as it moved around. Captured using a Canon EOS 6D, EF 15mm f/2.8 fisheye, ISO 6400, 25 sec exposures. Stitch of seven vertical images using PTGui.
