Details:
We had another nice display of NLCs last night, however this time the clouds were extremely low, at one stage 6 degrees above the horizon then increasing to 10 degrees. Despite this low altitude the NLCs were extremely bright with green, yellow and blue colours, at on stage a low strip of golden waves and whirls hugged the NW horizon and were spectacular looking. A sneaky yet beautiful display. Here are a few drone images.
