I received this request in my Facebook inbox that said. " Dear Mr. Smith, I'm Luca Berti, vice-president of the Astronomical Society from Ticino, Switzerland, and editor of the society magazine. I would be very interested in featuring your AR3664 image in our Meridiana magazine and on our website astroticino.ch." I told him I would consider letting him publish my AR3664 image which I got good responses on. I told him only if it would be on the "COVER" of the magazine and my name must be written in English on the cover because it is published in French. To my surprise, he was open to the idea, and then he said he did not know if it would work out with the way the magazine cover was laid out. I had AR3664 laid out left to right in a horizontal position. I told him I thought I could make it fit and I would get back to him with my design idea. I rotated my image 90° counterclockwise. After sharing my idea with him, he said he liked it and would use it for the cover. The magazine comes out in two forms, digital, and paper print. You can see on the cover in the lower right " Immagine di Philip Smith ". Luca Berti, mailed out 2 Mint Magazines so I can frame them and put them on my wall. I will be receiving them sometime soon. Please Note: My imaging configuration for this image was an ASTRO-PHYSICS 155mm f7 Starfire EDF - 6.1" aperture (155EDF) refractor that I added in front of the telescope main optical lens AstroSolar PHOTOFILM ND= 3.8 " Not for visual viewing with an eyepiece at all because you are risking your eyesight! Camera use ONLY at all times. The image camera was the Apollo-M MAX USB3.0 Mono (IMX432). and a Baader 7.5nm Solar Continuum Filter 1.25". I stacked two Balows. One was a Tele Vue 5x POWERMATE and the other was a ASTRO-PHYSICS 2x Convertible Barlow. Kind Regards To ALL 🙂
