Details:
I positioned to film sprites from western South Dakota as an MCS moved east near sunset yesterday. I did NOT expect to have aurora show up in the background. A huge bucket list item for me. This sprite even had a green ghost which is a lingering green emission at the top of the sprite from oxygen same as green aurora.
