Details:
Last night Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm warning with possible tornadoes in Thunder Bay and the surrounding district. At sunset the sky got pretty wild with some ominous looking mammatus clouds. The sky had an eerie appearance and the colours were surreal. I had reservations about sending my drone up as I have almost lost it due to hail in the past. Luckily the bulk of the storm missed us and I was able to take some aerial photos as well as photos with my Canon 6D DSLR. The first two photos are from the ground based DSLR and the last two were taken with the drone.
