Details:
AR3697 is now on the western limb and gave a parting shot of an X1.55 class. When flares occur on the limb this allows us to image their vertical profile and capture the magnetic field loops as reconfiguration occurs. This sequence runs from its peak level at 11:42UT until 13:38 UT when it had reduced to M1 level. Unfortunately the seeing was very poor on this occasion but such large events are still worth imaging.
