Details:
Clear skies arrived Saturday morning early for the Ashokan Reservoir. I showed up at 12am to clouds, but setup my equipment anyway. This single photograph is from a timelapse I shot of my setup to see if the clouds were going to clear. Once they did, there was some remarkable airglow color. My timelapse showed the ripples in the upper atmosphere. My main targets for the night were also successful: M101, M81, and M51.
