Details:
It was around 04:30 in the morning on the 11th of May. I was in the south west of Mauritius going for a hike up a mountain called Le Morne. I first saw some pink lights in the sky and thought it was the lights from sunrise then I realised it was the southern lights. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Unfortunately I only had my iPhone 14Pro, shot in night mode (30sec). Never thought we could see those lights in Mauritius. Amazing!!
