Details:
The sun, imaged with a smart scope about half an hour after the major solar flare had erupted on May 9, 2024. The resulting CME sparked the incredible auroras around the world a day later. AVI shot with Seestar and original white light solar filter, processed with Autostakkert and Registax. The second (DSLR) image shows the sky we experienced the next evening, on May 10, 2024.
