Details:
A very impressive prominence erupted behind the solar rim today and will probably come into view in a day or two. This is an animation of one frame every 5 minutes for 1.5 hours. Telescope: Lunt 60 mm Ha telescope with a 50 mm double stack module and a 2x Barlow. Camera: Ares M mono camera from PlayerOne.
