Details:
Yesterday night (YES, yesterday, May 17th!), another aurora surprise occurred in the Czech sky. It's not as bright as the previous Friday so far, but still a beautiful display at least for a while around local midnight. The Moon made this aurora less visible to the naked eyes (the photograph is the result of color enhancement of the auroral columns), however, the moonlight made the whole scene of the Seč Lake nicely visible. Yes, we definitely have a rich aurora season in the Czech Republic due to the strong solar maximum. Used Canon Ra, Sigma 35mm, f1.8, ISO 2000, panorama of 3 single 5s exposures from tripod.
