Details:
01 May 13 May 2024 Two large sunspots (AR3663-AR3664) formed on the surface of the Sun. The sunspots, which started to form on the eastern side of the Sun, were small at first, but when they reached the western side, they became the largest sunspots today. AR 3664 reached the size it was 165 years ago (Carrington Sunspot). These two sunspots formed on the south side of the solar equator. This composite sunspot image is a joint work of Şenol Şanlı and Uğur İkizler. Source:SDO
