The auroras australis have been observed as far away as New Caledonia (Boulouparis). Photo taken on the evening of May 11, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. Nikon D500, 16-80 f/2.8-4.0, ISO 5000, 20s f/3.2. Historic first for New Caledonia.
