Details:
These were taken from 10:00pm MDT, 45 minutes after sunset as the geomagnetic storm ramped up to G5 levels. Activity started in the northern half of the sky, then an hour later a large area over the southwest horizon started rapidly brightening and became the greatest display of Auroras I have ever seen. Greens, pinks, reds, blues and purples, simply amazing.
