Details:
On Thursday 9th May the young (one day old) 2.5% illuminated Moon was captured setting behind the summit of Transmitter Hill Mutare between 5.35 and 5.44 pm in the bright glare of a developing volcanic sunset twilight arch. Unfortunately the Moon disappeared behind the mountain just a few minutes after first becoming visible or better views would have been obtained. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
