Oh man, the sun right now. Managed some pics before the clouds & smoke overspread. That sunspot group is insane. Worth a look through those eclipse glasses you haven't thrown out yet! || If you have an H-Alpha scope, there is a huge prominence framing it on the limb and a thread of faculae alongside the darker spots almost looks flare level it's so bright. || These shots have not been stacked or processed with any level of skill. 9 May 2024 || White light image at 1745UTC || H-Alpha image at 1838Z || White light with ZenithStar 61 II APO & Baader film || H-Alpha with Coronado PST which is absolutely not made for photography.
