Details:
This active region looks absolutely stunning in hydrogen alpha light (656.28 nm). I captured this image from my back yard here in the UK this afternoon at 13:08 UTC on my 150mm refractor operating at f34. Within 15 minutes after some clouds had passed, I was astonished to see the same region now in mid-flare. Awesome!
