Details:
This appeared to be an ordinary satellite fuel dump other than it took about an hour to traverse 1/3 of the sky. It was rather compact about a degree or so in diameter and very slow-moving. It appeared above my southern horizon around 2:49 UT on May 9 and disappeared around 3:50 UT in the East Southeast about 35 or 40 degrees in Alt. It was two distinct objects with a dimmer diffuse glow above them. The object was in the shape of a bow tie at one point. Plenty of time to get camera gear on it. My Youtube video shows the motion in time-lapse.
