I'm a little late posting to SpaceWeather. The Northern Lights dance over Lake Michigan from the heart of Leelanau County. This was definitely worth staying up for and only getting maybe 2 hours of sleep. Near Northport. Images photographed between 1:02am- 1:27am. 5/6/24. (Mostly on camera only but the pillars were briefly visible to the human eye with a tinge of red).
Canon R6, adapted Sigma Art 14mm.
20 seconds, f/2, ISO 2000. Benro tripod.
