Details:
A pretty neat display of the aurora and a pretty lucky one too considering the worsening weather conditions. I was able to observe the aurora with my eyes in the first photo which appeared a faint red glow. I checked my camera later on and found the bright pink on the horizon from a secondary burst at 23:35 BST. Without the cloud, I can only imagine how it'd have looked to the eye! The first pic was taken at 22:50 BST and the second was at 23:35 BST at ISO 800, 18 mm, F3.5, 25 seconds.
