Details:
After after some discussion with David Blanchard about tonight's well-timed SpaceX launch, I prepared for a different set of exposures and some video. After a roughly 45 minute delay, the SpaceX launch at Cape Canaveral went off and I prepped for a short trip to Robinson Crater, north of Flagstaff, Arizona to catch it as it looped around 90ish minutes later. The 2nd stage showed up further north than I was expecting and I had to do some quick reframing on my time lapse camera and then center up with video. // This image shows a stack of 24 frames from the video (1 second of video at 1/13 sec. shutter speed). It's a reasonably good representation of the visual appearance and picks up the warm color that was visible to the eye as it sailed overhead. // Canon EOS R5 // Canon EF 24-105 f/4.0 // Video @ 1/13 sec. // f/4.0 // ISO 12,800
