Details:
There were several interesting area on the sun today. Very active sunspot 3654 is getting near the solar limb, and it belched out an M1.92 flare today. I was lucky enough to watch it forming and was able to get an image. I also got an image of two sunspots......3661 and 3663 in the same frame. This image illustrates the big difference between active sunspots and quiet sunspots. Finally, I imaged a long filaprom. 127mm f/9.4 refractor, Quark-C/Lunt 40mm double-stack filter, ASI174mm camera.
