Details:
Cracking aurora last night, easily visible to the naked eye, and bright enough to outshine the light pollution of Aberdeen and the waxing gibbous moon. Having missed the aurora the previous night due to cloud cover and showers , I decided to head further south over Aberdeenshire where there was more shelter from the showers, and great views to the north overlooking the historic Dunnottar Castle.
The first two shots were taken during the most active spell at around 2205 UTC, with the aurora and moon shot taken at 2225 UTC. The last shot was taken towards the end of the display at 2347 UTC.
