Details:
Terrestrial or celestial weather forecasts not yet 100% accurate. CME prediction for 14th ended up a day late to our benefit as the skies were clear at Beitostolen 200 km N of Oslo at lat 61.25 N. Pix taken from 2 to 3 am at -4 C with a first quarter moon lighting things up.Hand held A51 Galaxy, 10 sec exposures. Aurora's up to 30 degrees elevation with Auriga and Cassiopeia visible. A fantastic experience.
