Details:
We were able to see the eclipse at Mars Hill, Maine - only a short distance away from the Candian Border. Originally, our group did plan to observe the eclipse near San Antonio, but because of the bad weather for this place, in a hurry we did fly to Boston and than drove North of Houlton. The sharp triangle-shape streamers of the Corona could be seen all around the moon and did reach far away into space - this was a truely breathtaking experience to me and my friends. If you zoom into the image, nice structures, like spirals in the corona, can be detected. The composit image is made of 22 single exposures ranging from 1/500 of a second to 1 second. Camera : ASI 6200MC Optics : Telelens 500mm
