Details:
P12/Pons-Brooks and Jupiter a couple nights ago, April 11th from Robinson Crater north of Flagstaff, Arizona, USA. Dust and ion tails are still crazy, especially how ballooned out the head of the dust tail is vs. coma and the displaced lump in the ion tail further up. Through 15x70 binoculars, the view is a lot simpler. Well condensed coma with a tail that stretches about 2/3 of a degree vs. the 2 degrees visible in the photo. // GMT = 12 Apr 2024 0307-0334 // Canon R5 // Zenithstar 61 II APO (360mm FL) // iOptron SkyGuider Pro // 47 x 30 sec. @ f/5.6, ISO 800 // Pixinsight + Photoshop
