Details:
We fought a lot of clouds in Mountain Home, TX, during totality, but the double diamond ring effect was visible to the naked eye at third contact. This sequence of images, 2 seconds apart, shows the appearance of the diamond ring/Bailey's beads. An interesting effect is the first image shows the clouds illuminated by the pink solar chromosphere, and the second shows the white light of the photosphere. Askar V 80mm f/6.25 refractor, Canon 80D DSLR, 1/20s exposures at ISO100.
