Details:
After missing out on the Great American Eclipse for being too far East, one night later, on April 9, the sky compensated us on the Canary Islands with a beautiful crisp 1,5-percent lunar crescent, perfectly "face down" thanks to an almost vertical ecliptic! As the sky darkened, the darker part of the lunar disc became visible in the Earthshine. What a marvellous view!
Images taken with a 110mm f/4.6 lens and a Canon EOS 6D camera, and a 70mm f/6 refractor and a Canon EOS 600D camera, respectively.
