Details:
Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks above the western horizon as darkness falls. Image taken on April 3, 2024. The comet was barely visible to the naked eye from this Bortle 1 location being near the horizon. Taken with a Canon R camera, Sigma 85mm f1.4 Art lens working at f2. This is a stack of 10 X 30 seconds at ISO 400. Location was Terlingua, TX. The zodiacal light was visible stretching from the horizon to Jupiter at upper left.
