Details:
Hairy star meets yellow star! I was lucky with the weather again last night. Comet 12P was a beautiful sight in my Minox 8x44 binoculars. Here the comet is just 25 arcminutes away from magnitude 2 star Alpha Arietis (Hamal). Equipment: SkyWatcher ED80 and Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR at prime focus. Exposure: 30 x 30 seconds @ f/6.4 and ISO-1600.
