Details:
With the full Moon overpowering the tail of 12P I tried instead to capture the true colour of the inner coma usually burned out in longer exposures. So these are stacks of 10 at exposures of 1.3/2/3/ and 4 seconds. No colour or gamma manipulation, just exposure time to bracket saturation. Tail points upwards. 4 Sec exposure is zoomed out to give positional context. In addition to the oxygen green there seems to be an asymmetric orange area lower right. UT 19.30 24th March. Skywatcher 150mm F5 refractor, Fujifilm Finepix S1 bridge camera afocally, ISO 3200. Stacked but not adjusted in Registax.
