Details:
Impressive aurora for a time last night, with rays easily visible despite the strong moon. There was a relatively quiet arc at around 10 degrees visible from around 2000 UTC, but this expanded and lifted up to around 15 degrees, before bursting into life with bright rayed bands from around 2200 to 2215 UTC. The display then broke up and slowly faded with very little visible by 2300 UTC. This shot was taken at 2205 UTC.
