Details:
Rocket launches are becoming fairly common over Los Angeles but it's always an event when one departs Vandenberg Base around dusk, when the setting sun reflects its last rays on its exhaust particles. The Falcon 9 plume stretched vividly over the city of Angels and its observatory, with Jupiter shining in the distance.
