Details:
On the night of March 9th, 2024, I went to Devils Tower, Wyoming to try and image Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks. I used PhotoPills to determine its location relative to Devils Tower as seen from a couple photo spots I frequently use. Things were going to line up well this evening and skies were clear without any moon light. Along with static timelapses, I brought a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer GTi equitorial mount to get some tracked timelapes. Overall, my plan worked out pretty well, and I was able to capture the comet as it set behind Devils Tower.
