Finally! Clear skies here in Southern Ontario, although there was a fair bit of high cirrus on the horizon as you can tell by the halos, but there was Comet 12P/Pons Brooks, my first sighting of this beautiful comet. Some twilight glow remained in the sky at the time of shooting. I managed to frame my image to include Local Group galaxies M31 and M33. Pons Brooks was quite amazing just above the tree-line with a beautiful tail. It must be very bright, and I was quite pleased with how the tail turned out in the picture. As the comet brightens it will only get better and better. I used a Star Adventurer tracker, a Nikon D810a DSLR with a Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 lens and I stacked 60 x 30s exposures.
