Details:
Michael Fleenor's 2/22/24 dopplergram inspired me to create one from a day earlier (2/21/24). So, here is a solar dopplergram from 2/21/24 (comparing images shifted ±0.25 Ångstroms) showing active filaments from sunspot 3590 moving toward us (blue), and part of a large filament on the right side of the sun colored orange showing it is falling back toward the sun. This unstable filament erupted just 2 hours after the image was recorded. 80mm f/5 stopped to 70mm, Sol'Ex SHG, ASI178mm camera.
