Details:
This animated GIF file shows developing group AR3590 with the H-alpha filter ON and OFF. This basically shows the transition from a Chromosphere view to a Photosphere view. WO90 Optics, Baader ERF, Quark Chromosphere filter, ASI183MM. (As expected, the GIF animation unfortunately lowers the resolution somewhat, but it is quite interesting to compare the views.)
