Details:
Here is a spectroheliogram image of the sun today. Man, it was cold out in Kentucky, USA! When I imaged at 10:45 AM, the temperature was 4 degrees F and the wind-chill was -2 degrees F. I had to dig the snow off my back patio! Operating a laptop mouse with gloves on was a new experience! My laptop LCD screen got a bit sluggish, but soldiered on. I could not image with my larger h-alpha scope, because my Daystar Quark's etalon heater could not possibly get it warm enough to be on-band! Luckily, the h-alpha spectral line coming off the diffraction grating in my SHG cannot get "off-band"!! 80mm f/5 stopped to 70mm, Sol'Ex SHG, ASI178mm camera.
