Details:
In an endless cosmic dance, Jupiter’s moons orbit the giant with mysterious elegance; a beautiful example of celestial mechanics and the beauty of the universe, which we can enjoy from Earth, even with small telescopes. It is often possible to see transits of one of the four Galilean moons, whose shadow is projected onto the planet. In this image, you can observe the shadow of two moons, Europa and Ganymede, projected onto Jupiter.
