Thirteen Full Moons were seen in 2023. In the first two months of the year, the Full Moon was at its farthest distance from the Earth (apogee) at 405,830 km, and in August it was at its closest distance (perigee) at 357,340 km. We watched the second Full Moon and the Super Blue Full Moon, also seen in August. A partial lunar eclipse occurred on October 28. BURSA
