Details:
I observed the occultation of Betelgeuse from Terranova Da Sibari (Italy), along the expected centrality line. The star did not decrease by three magnitudes as expected. Observing with the naked eye, the drop in brightness was barely visible and lasted a few seconds. This is a star trails with Betelgeuse and the surrounding stars, obtained with an exposure of one minute and a focal length of one meter at f/11. You can notice the modest and brief drop in brightness of the star about halfway through the shot.
