On December 8, 2023 Comet/Centaur 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 1 had a major cryovolcano outburst followed by two more outbursts. This image shows the first three days (December 9, 10, 11) of following the progress of what is likely to be the emergence of a significant coma.
