Details:
Saw a little SAR action tonight just above the north - northwestern horizon. It lasted a little over an hour before fading. I've seen reports coming in from all over the Carolinas and Virginia. Tonight, it was mostly situated in the north-northwest and in just over a few minutes it began growing eastward and extended all the way across the Big Dipper's handle, beneath the Little Dipper and all the way eastward through Cassiopia and almost to the Pleiades and Hyades. Then, after several minutes it retreated back to an arc in the north - northwest. After lasting a little over an hour it slowly faded.
