Details:
We chased patches of sun around the Summer Lake Basin in Oregon before settling in on the north end of this former Pleistocene lake. The clouds acted as a dynamic solar filter, creating an ever-changing view of the eclipse. It was difficult to know if bursts of light around the Moon’s edge were Baily’s Beads or cloud effects. Either way, the eclipse was lovely! Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G cell phone f/2.4, 1/4361, 7.1mm, ISO 25, 12.3mp
