Details:
We chased patches of sun around the Summer Lake Basin in Oregon before settling in on the north end of this former Pleistocene lake. The clouds acted as a dynamic solar filter, creating an ever-changing view of the eclipse. It was difficult to know if bursts of light around the Moon’s edge were Baily’s Beads or cloud effects. Either way, the eclipse was lovely!
