Details:
Far away from the path of (near) totality, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, some of the clouds gave way around the time of maximal eclipse (1300 local time). The partly cloudy conditions and varying transparency provided some striking photo ops. Sunspots were visible on some of the images. Nikon D SLR, Sigma 150-600 lens w 1.4x converter. Aperature and exposures varied greatly depending on cloud thickness.
