Details:
Since the Guadalupe California early morning forecast called for fog, I had to get up early in the morning and drive east, past the overhead marine layer and out to farm fields of Santa Maria California to photograph this annular solar eclipse. Sure enough and as expected, it became colder as the moon reached totality and blocked out the sun's warm rays on California's Central Coast. Although this annular solar eclipse did not produce a ring of fire locally, it's always epic to witness these signs of our times, in the heavens, whenever they occur.
