Details:
Skies were spectacular for this morning's annular eclipse. I thought to try a few scans to see what would happen and was quite surprised to find the Spectroheliograph suitable for this application. While I was trying to pay attention using my MK1 eyeball, I grabbed a scan every few minutes and found that I captured the complete duration. Of course my wife made sure that I was present during the event. These scans were made with a 72mm ED refractor and a SolEx spectroheliograph set at the hydrogen alpha wavelength.
